The durable, fire-resistant rough-out leather upper [18050] or the durable, fire-resistant full-grain leather upper [18054] is made in the USA with domestic and imported components. The mountaineering-inspired, lightweight, athletic design features a breathable, moisture-wicking mesh lining for comfort. The cushioning open-cell OrthoLite footbed provides underfoot support, while the full-length polypropylene board with an integrated steel shank ensures optimal rigidity and stability.
The handcrafted, opanka-stitch construction adds strength and stability to the boot. The Vibram S587 Fire & Ice oil-and-slip-resistant outsole offers heat resistance and superior traction over high-angle terrain. The boot is also certified to meet the NFPA 1977: 2016 edition standards and provides electrical hazard protection in accordance with ASTM F2892-11 EH.
